Homecoming shirts are now on sale! Shirts are gray with red and black print. The cost is $15 and the deadline to order is Tuesday, September 2nd.
Order forms are available in the office of each school site. Contact Alice Schneider at aschneider@vps.k12.ok.us with any questions.
September 5th is Youth football / cheerleader night!
Verdigris vs Pawhuska - game time 7:00pm
Youth players and cheerleaders will be recognized at halftime.
players and cheerleaders must be in their Verdigris youth uniform to get in free.
Homecoming is on September 12th
Parade begins at 1:00 in the elementary parking lot and will end
in the high school parking lot.
Coronation ceremony begins at 6:15pm
Cardinals vs Miami at 7:00pm
"Open House" for Verdigris students and parents is scheduled for Tuesday evening, August, 12th.
Parents and students are invited to come to your respective school to get schedules, locker information, meet teachers / classmates, and find your way around the building.
North Campus - Elementary Schools will have open house from 5:30-6:30 pm
South Campus - Junior High and High School will have open house from 6:00-7:00 pm.
All 9th-12th Student Athletes will have Drug Testing on Friday, August 8th. The cost is $20. Please bring cash or make your checks payable to Verdigris Schools. Drug Testing for 11-12th grades will begin at 10:00am in the HS Commons Area. Drug Testing for 9-10th grades will begin at 11:00am in the HS Commons Area. The drug screening parent signature form is available at this website. Go to District Office, District Policies and Information, Forms and then select and print the Drug Screening Form. There is a place at the bottom the form for the parent's signature. PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING THE PARENT SIGNED DRUG SCREENING FORM WITH YOU TO DRUG TESTING!
School Supply lists were distributed to Wal-Mart and area stores in June of 2014. We apologize if they are out of the lists. Please feel free to print the list provided here.
